Altatech Brasil was launched in 2002 and your core business is the Oil and Gas market. Working as a sales representative and distributor for local and foreign manufacturers from many countries like USA, Italy, England, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, China and Mexico, the company has supplied equipment and products for major projects such as UOTE, Híbrido, Mexilhão, Tupi, Peregrino, Sul Capixaba, GSNC, BC-10, Guara-Lula, Replicantes, Cessão Onerosa, Sépia and Búzios 8.

In 2015 the company has expanded its services to other markets such as Power Generation, Energy Transmission, Water Treatment and Gas Network, offering EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation), O&M (Operations and Maintenance) and Assembly of Industrial Plants.

Working with important groups, Altatech has participated in huge projects such as Rio Grande (1,300 MW) and Barcarena (600 MW) Thermal Power Plants, Dracena (130 MW), Guaimbê (140 MW) and Graúna (497 MW) Solar Plants, the Piracema Solar Complex (1,400 MW) and several projects for the National Energy Agency (ANEEL) Auctions.

Altatech has also a joint venture with a Brazilian trading company with branches in USA and China, supporting Importation and Exportation in a global scale and offering Financial Solutions for equipment procurement.

Bruno Vidigal de Carvalho

Founder – Managing Director

Graduated in Business at PUC-Rio, holds a MBA in Corporate Finance from IAG-PUC and extension courses in Renewable Energy Schemes from University of Pennsylvania (Penn), Subsea Engineering and E&P Offshore from COPPE-UFRJ, Control Valves Dimensioning from Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute (IBP) and Petroleum Engineering and Subsea Installations from Estácio. Founder of Altatech Brasil, Cofounder of the NGO Instituto Reação and former Member of its Fiscal Council, started his career at Icatu Financial Group and had undertaken business in the Construction and Financial markets.

Arthur Vicente Serpa

Partner and Sales Director

Graduated in International Relations at UCAM, History at UFRRJ and Theology at Faculdade Teológica Sul Americana, holds a MBA of International Trade and Negotiation from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and extension courses in Photovoltaic Systems from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Oil Production Units from Pan-American Institute of Naval Engineering (IPEN). Has been working for over 10 years in the commercial of Altatech and was responsible for the Services division development.

Miguel Ângelo S. Oliveira

Technical Director

Graduated in Physics, has specialization in Electronic Engineering and many technical courses for Valves, Materials, Metalworking, Standards, Certifications, Inspections, among others. Worked for 43 years at Petrobras in the Quality Program, Fabrication Inspection, Classification of Materials, Procurement of Imported Materials, Material Services, was responsible for Maintenance at REDUC (Refinery in Rio de Janeiro) and worked as a Consultant for Petrobras dealing with Valves and Qualification of Suppliers.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Altatech Brasil supports the non-governmental organization Instituto Reação that acts in underprivileged communities in Rio de Janeiro and has over 2,500 kids in the program. The objective is to promote the human development and the social inclusion through the sport (judo and jiu jitsu) and complementary activities such as cultural events, medical support, English class and school reinforcement.

One of the students, Rafaela Silva won the first judo gold medal to Brazil in the Olympic Games of 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
